Successful JumpCross Launch at Grangewood Farm

The launch of the new JumpCross site at Grangewood Farm and Livery in Swadlincote was a huge success.

Set in the beautiful countryside of South Derbyshire, in the heart of the National Forest, the launch saw five training groups head out on to the brand new JumpCross course for an action packed day of learning.

Using both training areas, the garden and the sweeps splash in the park the riders got a true taste of JumpCross action.

Said organiser Rebecca Kirkland: “We had fantastic turnout and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day, going away with a big smile on their faces.

“We have had some amazing feedback from the riders all saying they enjoyed the sport for its mixture of outdoor excitement teamed with the technicality of the fences.

“We are now looking forward to organising more training sessions and competitions for the new season ahead.

JumpCross provides a lot of fun and education for both horse and rider and caters for everyone from those new to riding to competitors at advanced level. It’s a great way to develop cross-country skills with plenty of excitement.”
