Priory Court Farm
JumpCross – the exciting new cross country discipline sweeping the nation, combining the excitement of cross-country with the accuracy of show jumping!
It is an excellent way of training both horse and rider in the art of cross country riding, and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
The sport of JumpCross at Priory Court Farm in Polegate, East Sussex has been established for seven years with the challenging, yet fun course revamped last year to provide even more variety for training days and competitions.
The course at Priory Court Farm aims to provide good practice for those wishing to improve their techniques in cross country, whilst at the same time building confidence in both horse and rider. The course over 25 acres of our land, includes ditches, steps and two water complexes. Priory Court Farm has a great team behind the scenes making sure every event they hold is hopefully successful and that riders go along, learn something new and also have a good time.
Last season saw many horses and riders who were trying JumpCross for the first time or had been a few times before. From children in the pony club, right up to adults who just want to have fun and learn more about the sport, and riders bringing their new or young horses. The course is ideal for all levels from novice to experienced competitors.
Many riders take part to enjoy the training days, have private lessons or to compete at our seasonal competition.
Whether a seasoned competitor, nervous rider, coming back to jumping after injury, bringing on a young horse or just looking for something more stimulating - JumpCross is for you so why not get involved and have a go!
Priory Court Farm will be running regular training days from May 2013. For more information or to enquire about a JumpCross lesson telephone Liz on 01323 647776 or click here.
